SISI NI DOLA CUP 2026 REACHES QUARTER-FINAL STAGE AS TITLE RACE INTENSIFIES

The 2026 edition of the SISI NI DOLA CUP has reached the quarter-final stage, with only eight teams remaining in the race for the coveted title and the tournament's KSh 1 million grand prize.

After weeks of highly competitive football featuring clubs from across the Coast region, the competition has now entered its decisive phase. Green Eagles, Likoni United, Nabadda FC, Nyundo FC, Al Shifaa, Mombasa Sports Club, Azzam United, and defending champions Fayaz Bakers are all still in contention as they battle for a place in the semi-finals.

The quarter-final fixtures begin on Wednesday, 5th August, when Green Eagles face Likoni United at Mombasa Sports Club (Ground A). Nabadda FC will take on Nyundo FC on Thursday, 6th August, followed by Al Shifaa against Mombasa Sports Club on Friday, 7th August. The final quarter-final tie will see Azzam United lock horns with defending champions Fayaz Bakers on Sunday, 9th August. All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3:30 PM.

The winners will progress to the semi-finals on 10th and 11th August, before the third-place playoff on 13th August and the grand final on 14th August, where the 2026 champions will be crowned.

Apart from the prestige of lifting the trophy, teams are competing for a substantial prize fund. The champions will receive KSh 1,000,000, while the first runners-up will take home KSh 500,000. The third-placed team will earn KSh 250,000, with the fourth-placed side receiving KSh 100,000.

Individual excellence will also be rewarded. Special awards worth up to KSh 20,000 each will be presented to the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP), Top Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, Youngest Player, and Oldest Player.
