Beyond taking the tournament to the mashinani, the core objective of the Unga Ni Taifa Super Cup 2025 was talent development. To ensure young and upcoming players had a genuine platform to shine, players featuring in national leagues from FKF Division One and above were not allowed to participate. This deliberate move opened the door for grassroots talents to showcase their abilities, gain exposure, and compete at a high level.
Matches were played across all six sub-counties of Mombasa — Mvita, Jomvu, Changamwe, Kisauni, Nyali, and Likoni — reinforcing the tournament’s commitment to community football and youth empowerment.
The Unga Ni Taifa Super Cup 2025 will go down as a landmark tournament, celebrated for its organisation, inclusivity, and unwavering focus on nurturing the next generation of football talent.
